RUGGERI CELEBRATES 75 YEARS OF TRADITION, INNOVATION, AND PASSION FOR PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG
A deep bond with the land, a commitment to sustainability, and an unwavering pioneering spirit have always been the core values of Ruggeri historic winery in Valdobbiadene.
Its journey began 75 years ago, on June 26th 1950, when Giustino Bisol, together with his cousin Luciano Ruggeri, founded the winery in the heart of Valdobbiadene’s steep hills.
A challenging yet thriving land, rich in life and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. Year after year, harvest after harvest, Ruggeri has grown into one of the most renowned and respected wineries in the Valdobbiadene area.
“A milestone, but also an inspiration for new projects and adventures”
Staying true to the pioneering spirit of its founders, the winery continues to explore new and innovative winemaking paths. At the heart of this vision lies the so-called “Metodo Ruggeri” – a distinctive production philosophy based on extended maturation in autoclave tanks, giving Ruggeri’s wines their signature depth and structure.
This approach underlies the development of the premium Ladaltempo collection. Aged for 60 months on fine lees, this 2017 vintage Prosecco Superiore DOCG is far more than just a youthful, light-bodied sparkling wine.
“The deepest essence, the soul of Ruggeri, is the relentless pursuit of the highest quality”
(Paolo Bisol, son of the founder)
An ambition, a commitment to excellence, that has always been present in every decision, every gesture, and every moment of daily work.
This unwavering dedication—woven from precision, passion, and pragmatism—has been passed down through generations, inspiring every member of the Ruggeri team. It’s a constant drive for excellence that never settles for past achievements but always strives to reach new heights.
