A toast in Valdobbiadene to celebrate the new prestigious award assigned to Giustino B. from Ruggeri! With the 2020 vintage Giustino B. Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. Extra Dry Millesimato has been awarded for the tenth time the highly coveted “Tre Bicchieri” of the most influential Italian wine guide “Vini d’Italia – Gambero Rosso”.
This is a clear proof for the work of Ruggeri carried out over the years, both in the vineyards and in the winery. The award demonstrates the constant striving for oenological excellence of the historic winery of Valdobbiadene as well as the result of the combination of a long history deeply-rooted in the local area and the relationships with over a hundred local producers.
A tradition of success and prestige, confirmed over time by constant international awards. Ruggeri, in fact, was the first Prosecco winery to be awarded the accolade of “Best Italian Sparkling wine of Gambero Rosso” in 2017. Giustino B., the flagship wine of Ruggeri, is the evidence of research towards the highest quality and longevity of a Prosecco Superiore. Giustino B. demonstrates a strong character and evolves superbly over time: the long fermentation on the lees, which can last up to five months, and the following aging in the bottle play a central role to give this Prosecco Superiore a complex structure.
